kikkoman products used:

ingredients

1 large egg
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
¼ cup all-purpose flour
1¼ cups Kikkoman Sriracha Panko
Vegetable oil
Kikkoman Sriracha Mayo for dipping (optional)

directions

  1. Beat egg and 1 Tbsp. water together in medium bowl.
  2. Cut chicken across the grain into 1/2-inch thick slices.
  3. Dredge chicken in flour, shaking off excess. Dip chicken into egg mixture and then coat both sides with panko, pressing panko onto chicken.
  4. Pour enough oil into large, heavy pot to measure 2 inches deep; heat oil over medium heat to 350°F.
  5. Working in batches, deep-fry chicken in hot oil until cooked through, about 2 minutes, turning pieces over once.  Remove chicken and drain on paper towels.
  6. Serve chicken with sriracha mayo, if desired.

THE STORY OF SOY SAUCE

Even people who love soy sauce and use it all the time are often surprised to learn what it is and how it’s made. We make ours from just four simple ingredients—water, soybeans, wheat, and salt. Those ingredients are transformed through a traditional brewing process—much like making wine or beer—that has remained unchanged for centuries.
