1 cup Kikkoman® Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce
¾ cup lightly packed brown sugar
¾ cup water
2 tablespoons Kikkoman® Sesame Oil
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 bunch green onions, chopped
3 pounds Korean-style beef short ribs*
Toasted sesame seeds, for garnish
Combine first six ingredients, stirring until sugar dissolves. Pour mixture over ribs in large plastic food storage bag. Press air out of bag; close top securely. Turn bag over several times to coat ribs. Refrigerate 6 hours or overnight, turning over bag occasionally.
Remove ribs and discard marinade. Prepare grill for medium-high heat or preheat broiler on high heat. Grill or broil ribs 3 to 5 minutes on each side, or to desired doneness. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds, if desired.
*These ribs are from beef chuck flanken cut across the bone, into about 1/2 inch thick slices.
