1-2/3 cups whole wheat pastry flour
1/3 cup semolina flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
Generous pinch sea salt
Scant pinch ground cinnamon
1/3 cup hempseed or light olive oil
1/2 cup brown rice syrup or honey
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 to 3 teaspoons Pearl Creamy Vanilla Organic Soymilk
1/2 cup slivered almonds
GANACHE:
1 cup non-dairy, grain-sweetened chocolate chips
2 teaspoons brown rice syrup
1/4 cup Pearl Creamy Vanilla Organic Soymilk
Note: Hempseed oil is high in an albumin-like protein (like eggs) and helps to prevent the biscotti from crumbling when slicing.
