1/2 cup Kikkoman Soy Sauce
2-1/2 lbs. pork rib (country style)
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup garlic (finely chopped)
2 teaspoons sesame seed (toasted)
2 tablespoons and some for optional Cochujang*
(hot pepper paste)
1 tablespoon Kikkoman Sesame Oil
2 medium eggs
Salt and Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Red leaf lettuce, optional
*Cochujang is Korean hot pepper paste. You can find it at a Korean store or in an Asian corner of a grocery store. If you can't find it, you can substitute 1 tablespoon of crushed red pepper.
Optional: When you serve, add some red leaf lettuce and some Cochujang paste on the side. When you eat, put a slice of the pork and a little paste on the lettuce, and roll it up. This meal goes with rice very well.
