1-1/2 pounds fresh or thawed jumbo shrimp
or prawns (15 to 18 count)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup thinly sliced celery
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 pound fresh Roma tomatoes, coarsely chopped
3 tablespoons Kikkoman Soy Sauce
1/3 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
1-1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
Hot cooked rice
- Peel and devein shrimp.
- Heat oil and butter in large skillet over medium heat until hot. Add onion, celery and garlic; sauté 3 minutes.
- Stir in tomatoes and soy sauce. Cook, covered, 5 minutes, stirring twice.
- Add shrimp; cook, uncovered, 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Add parsley and lemon juice; cook, stirring, until shrimp are pink.
- Serve over rice.
