Ingredients (Yield: 4 servings)
1/2 cup Kikkoman Teriyaki Baste & Glaze
4 teaspoons brandy
2 cloves garlic, pressed
1-1/2 teaspoons dried marjoram leaves, crumbled
1/4 teaspoon onion salt
2-pound boneless beef sirloin steak, about 1 inch thick
Instructions
- Combine teriyaki baste & glaze, brandy, garlic, marjoram and onion salt.
- Trim and score fat on edge of steak. Brush both sides of steak thoroughly with baste & glaze mixture.
- Place steak 4 to 5 inches from hot coals. Cook about 18 minutes (for medium-rare), or until desired degree of doneness, turning and brushing occasionally with baste & glaze mixture. [Or, place steak on rack of broiler pan. Broil steak 8 to 9 minutes on each side (for medium-rare), brushing occasionally with baste & glaze mixture.]
- To serve, cut across grain into thin slices.
