Ingredients

Yield: Makes 4 servings 2 eggs, beaten
2/3 cup Pearl Creamy Vanilla Organic Soymilk*
1 tablespoon grated fresh orange peel
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Vegetable oil
8 slices dry white bread
Butter or trans fat-free butter-like spread &
maple-flavored syrup, as desired

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs together with soymilk, orange peel and cinnamon in shallow bowl or pie pan.
  2. Heat lightly oiled griddle or large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Dip bread slices into egg mixture, thoroughly coating both sides. Place on griddle and cook 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  4. Serve warm with butter and syrup.

*Or, substitute with Pearl Original Organic Soymilk or Tropical Delight Soymilk.
