Ingredients

Yield: Yield: 6 to 8 servings

SIGNATURE SAUCE
1/3 cup Kikkoman Soy Sauce
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup Kikkoman Rice Vinegar
2 tablespoons Kikkoman Sesame Oil
1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce
1 teaspoon minced ginger root
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1 green onion, minced


APPLICATION RECIPE
6 cups shredded napa or Chinese cabbage
2 cups shredded spinach leaves
1 pound cooked peeled and deveined medium shrimp
1 can (14.5 ounces) baby corn, drained
1 red bell pepper, cut into julienne strips
1 medium cucumber, peeled and thinly sliced
1/4 cup sliced almonds
1/2 cup Signature Sauce

Instructions

SIGNATURE SAUCE

  1. Place all ingredients into a jar with a screwtop lid. Cover and shake well. Makes about 1 cup.



APPLICATION RECIPE

  1. Place all the ingredients except the Signature Sauce in a large bowl.
  2. Heat the sauce in a small saucepan until hot. Toss the hot dressing with the slaw mixture. Serve immediately.

ADDITIONAL USAGE IDEAS

  • Pour heated sauce over button mushrooms and let marinate, covered, in the refrigerator several hours.
  • Use sauce cold as a dipping sauce for tofu, smoked turkey and blanched broccoli.
  • Use sauce as a marinade for poultry or fish before grilling.
  • Stir sauce into warm cooked rice.
