1 large white onion, sliced into rings
1-1/4 cup Kikkoman Tempura Batter Mix
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs, beaten well
1 cup milk, iced cold
1 cup Kikkoman Panko Bread Crumbs
oil for deep frying
Cut onion into 1/4 inch circles and separate into rings. Dust the onion rings in dry Tempura Batter Mix. Combine remaining tempura batter mix with baking powder and salt. Add eggs and milk. Dredge onions in the egg mixture, letting excess mixture drip off. Coat onion rings with Panko Bread Crumbs, coating evenly. Deep fry onion rings until golden brown, drain on a wire rack with paper towels underneath. Sprinkle with seasoned salt.
