4 pounds chuck roast
1/2 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup Kikkoman Less Sodium Soy
1/2 cup water
3 carrots, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
3 potatoes, peeled and cubed
3 stalks celery, chopped
Season the chuck roast with black pepper and garlic powder. Add oil to a large skillet and then brown the chuck roast on all sides. Place meat in the slow cooker and add the Soy Sauce, water, carrots, onion, potatoes and celery. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours.
