Between Kikkoman’s Juicy Bird sweepstakes and our Instagram contest, we have a lot of opportunities for you to win big this holiday season. To enter our Instagram contest, post an original photo of anything that would be improved by Kikkoman – food, kitchen, pantry, refrigerator etc. to Instagram or Twitter. Get creative! Include the hashtag #JustAddKikkoman in your caption and you could have a chance at winning $500.
Lots happened this past month as Kikkoman took to the road. First, in early November, we hosted a grill-off at the Georgia State Fair on November 2. Three contestants competed for the chance to call themselves the winner of the Grill-Off. The recipes wowed us as well as the onlookers. Fairgoers had a taste of chicken kabobs marinated in soy sauce and pineapple juice, lettuce cups with marinated shrimp and ribs marinated with soy sauce, orange juice and Jamaican spices.
From Atlanta, we headed to Dallas. We took our Ponzu on the road to the Fiestamericana festival in Dallas. We sampled our Ponzu sauce, handed out recipes and tips for using Ponzu to enhance dishes like fajitas and carne asada.
The fun didn’t end in Dallas... we then headed to the Toronto Food & Wine Event! Kikkoman’s Chef Helen Roberts challenged attendees to taste the difference between Kikkoman’s traditionally brewed soy sauce, with just four ingredients, and a chemically processed soy sauce competitor. Event attendees also had a chance to try several different products Kikkoman offers.
We’re excited to announce that our winter K magazine was released last month. This issue features our savory turkey brine and focuses on brining your bird – taking it from simple to extraordinary. See past issues of our K mag here.
